History:
The Curtiss JN-4 Jenny, an American training plane, from 1916, a single-engine two-seater wooden structure-covered biplane, was one of the most important American aircraft in the interwar period. Descended from the JN-3, "Jenny" was sold 105 copies to England and 21 copies went to the US Army. The model was also purchased by private individuals, and it was also used by the Curtiss flight schools. during World War I it was produced in large series (varieties JN-4A, В, H) and used in Europe by American and British aviation for training. In Canadian aviation it was known as JN-4 Canuck. After the war, these planes were used for training purposes The aircraft was also exhibited at various aerobatic air shows and the last JN-4 were withdrawn from active service in the US Army in 1927.
